A premier insurance company is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Agency Sales to lead and drive growth in the Manila and South Luzon regions. This leadership role involves direct oversight of a dynamic team of Sales Managers, who support and manage agency leaders, unit managers, and financial advisors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency sales, a proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, and a talent for inspiring and growing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Sales Managers responsible for supporting agency leaders, unit managers, and financial advisors within the company's distribution channel.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the Manila and South Luzon regions, with a focus on achieving targets, driving productivity, and expanding market reach.Performance Management: Oversee performance metrics, provide coaching, and set clear objectives for sales teams to ensure they meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.Recruitment and Development: Work closely with the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent within the sales force. Implement continuous development programs to build skills and capabilities across the team.Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Training, to ensure alignment with corporate goals and support the agency sales force.Market Insights: Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and adjust sales strategies to optimize market share and drive growth in assigned territories.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management within the life insurance industry, with a focus on agency distribution.Strong knowledge of agency distribution models and the ability to drive performance through sales teams.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
