PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and supervise the team of mechanics and detailing, providing guidance, support and technical expertise.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient workflow and optimal use of resources.
• Perform advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles.
• Oversee and assist the team in resolving complex mechanical issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed repairs to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Address any deficiencies and provide additional training as needed.
• Train new team members on advanced repair techniques, diagnostic procedures, and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training to existing team members to keep them updated on industry advancements.
• Manage the inventory of automotive parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to order parts and supplies as needed.
• Interact with customers to discuss vehicle issues, explain repair procedures, and address concerns.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of tools and equipment used in the repair shop.
• Report any equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
• Generate reports on repair activities, including productivity, quality metrics, and team performance.
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of repair operations.
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify and address operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with senior management to align operational strategies with overall company goals.
• Check and monitor supplier's prices and quotations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations and public forums.
