Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with PFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.GL Maintenance and Reconciliation: Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and review reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts.Staff Supervision: Supervise the staff to ensure deliverables are executed timely and properly.Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.Internal Controls: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and regulatory audits, providing the necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Loans, Treasury, Branch Operations, Risk and Compliance to ensure financial data is accurate and meets reporting requirements.Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare special financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in accountancy or its equivalent years of experience in banking.CPA is an advantage.Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (PFRS, GAAP).Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., GL System) and MS Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
