A Head Chef is a highly skilled professional cook who oversees the operations of a restaurant or dining facility. They are responsible for the food that comes out of a kitchen, from conception to execution.

Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings. Approving and "polishing" dishes before they reach the customer.

Control stock and inspect deliveries, maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Supervise kitchen staff to make sure food is of high quality, presented well and served on time.
