DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review hospital charges against medical record and all applicable documentation to
determine
• appropriate code assignments for diagnoses and services provided (CPT/HCPCS
codes)
• Understand billing and coding requirements for government and commercial payers
• Experience with payment methodology including APC, percent of charge, inpatient
and case rate.
• Abstract statistical data from the patient record and enter information following facility
guidelines
• Utilize coding resources or applicable reference materials to ensure accuracy in
coding for assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) and/or E/M Medical
Coding, Profee Coding
• Must be a College Graduate
Must Haves:
Active CPC, COC, CCS-P or CCS certification
Active PHRN License
Nice to Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
RELEVANT INFORMATION:
• If certification will expire in the next 6 months, candidate will shoulder certification
renewal
Training Details: 2 Months | Mid Shift (3pm – 12mn) | Onsite (Cubao, Quezon City)
No planned leaves or absences during training
