HAIRSTYLIST

 

SALARY:
PHP 11,406 + Commission

 

 

Hair Stylist duties include consulting clients on hair styling options, describing the benefits of different hair care products, persuading clients to buy their retail products and staying updated on the latest hair trends and styling methods.

 

Additionally, Hair Stylists need to be expert ?people persons? to attract and retain long-term customers. This requires good interpersonal and conversational skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
Consulting clients on stylistic options for their hair

Listening to client needs to determine their preferences

Describing different hair care products and their benefits

Shampooing, cutting, coloring, DG Perm, highlighting and rebonding hair

Performing scalp treatments

EXTREMELY pleasing warm and welcoming personality

Acting

as salesperson to sell clients hair care retail productsBuilding personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits

Adhering to Hair Studio safety and cleanliness standards

Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store

Keeping updated on hair style trends and styling method

Qualifications:
High School graduate or General Education Completion

Certified Vocational Training is a plus

Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or colorist

A wide pallet of styling and coloring techniques

Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good verbal communication

Physical stamina

Creative mindset and a good eye for design

Experience using different types of scissors, trimmers, and other tools to create hair styles

An understanding of the different types of hair styles

An ABSOLUTE willingness to learn about new styles and techniques

The ability to communicate with customers and understand a look they want, even if they don't know the technical terms for a certain style

Willing to work mall hours and shifting schedules
