We are looking for a Graphic Designer with a flair for creativity and a passion for publishing. In this role, you will bring to life a variety of projects, from picture and board books to marketing visuals. You'll collaborate with a talented team to design compelling covers, layouts, and promotional materials that captivate and inspire audiences.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Book Design and Layout: Create and roll out picture books and board books for seasonal, special, and buy-in projects. Set up print-ready files. Select fonts and design covers around illustrations. Amend spreads and integrate logos as required. Develop licensed and non-licensed coloring books, activity products, and sticker books: Source and use imagery or licensed assets while adhering to style guides. Take in and implement licensor feedback. Concept Development: Design concepts for color and activity products, including innovative formats like box sets and carry cases. Marketing Material Creation: Develop product visuals for marketing purposes, including front cover visuals, internal pages, and 3D renders of kits. Design additional marketing materials, such as catalogues for book fairs, AI sheets, and website images. Collaboration and Feedback: Partner with internal teams to ensure designs align with project goals. Review and refine work based on feedback to deliver high-quality outputs. We would need you to be or have the following: Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in publishing. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong understanding of typography, layout, and print production processes. Ability to work with licensed assets and follow brand guidelines. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects. Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative designs and concepts.It would be awesome if you are or also have: Experience creating 3D renders and visuals for marketing purposes.
