Global Trade Compliance Supervisor - Hybrid - Night Shift

Drake's top client – an IT company is hiring a Global Trade Compliance Supervisor to be part of their collaborative team in Taguig City (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:
Trade Compliance Oversight:
• Supervise and lead a team responsible for ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in international trade laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures.

Restricted Parties List Screening:
• Oversee the restricted parties list screening process to ensure compliance with export control laws.
• Conduct regular audits of screening processes and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve screening issues promptly.

ECCN Classification:
• Manage the ECCN classification process for products to determine appropriate export controls.
• Work closely with product development teams to gather necessary information for accurate ECCN classification.
• Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database of ECCN classifications.

Training and Education:
• Develop and deliver training programs on trade compliance, RPL screening, and ECCN classification for employees across the organization.
• Provide ongoing education to ensure a strong understanding of compliance requirements.

Monitoring and Reporting:
• Establish and maintain a monitoring system to track compliance metrics.
• Generate regular reports on compliance performance for senior management.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to address identified compliance issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified in Export Compliance) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance, with a focus on export screening and ECCN classification.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, including but not limited to ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule, hybrid setup.
