Chubb's Global Security Operations organization is seeking an experienced executive to provide matrixed leadership to the Global Security Operations team located in Manila, Philippines. The GSO team is responsible for the operational support and lifecycle management of Chubb's global portfolio of network and endpoint security, directory services, and privileged access management tools and platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Global Security Operations, the GSO lead will be the escalation point of contact for issues pertaining to the GSO organization. The GSO lead will work closely with other members of the GSO leadership team to ensure that their respective teams are performing at the highest levels and in alignment with the global operational support model.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The position roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversight of the operational support of network, endpoint, directory, and privileged access security platforms, ensuring reliability, stability resiliency, and performance.
• Represent the Head of Global Security Operations team in regional meetings, such as: change approval boards, strategic planning sessions, incident escalations, etc.
• Establish and enrich relationships with regional stakeholders in both IT infrastructure and applications, as well as with regional Information Security teams.
• Ensure Audit and Compliance controls are satisfied for GSO managed tools and systems.
• Support a 24 X 7 operating model leveraging Chubb Service Centers.
• Provide management oversight for the 24/7 GSO teams based in the Manila Service Center
• Ensures all incidents are handled properly and according to best practices and policies.
• Implement new security technologies and controls as required to support a dynamic/challenging business environment.
• Maintain governance over documentation, including management and updates of relevant policies, procedures, standards, runbooks, playbooks, and similar, making updates to stay aligned with evolving requirements and threat management.
• Identify operational opportunities to implement security orchestration and automation capabilities.
• Ability to mentor and have the capability influencing the group.
• Manages executive relationships to maintain strategic direction and pipeline of work. Holds full accountability for success of designated function or department.
• Drives performance against measurable functional, operational, and strategic priorities. Prioritizes work based on stakeholder needs and objectives and ensures the deployment of people, process, and technology.
• Develop, review, enhance operational processes; ensuring they align with Chubb's information security policy and standards.
• Develop and produce meaningful reporting to illustrate operational performance with a security focus.
• Develop solutions and implement recommendations, alternatives, and guidance on risk mitigation decisions.
• Consult and collaborate with other Information Security teams to manage and improve overall risk at Chubb.
• Maintain and communicate knowledge on current and emerging cyber threats/trends within information security risk management.
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of progressive experience leading technology teams
• Fluent in English
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Expert knowledge of ITIL framework and processes
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM or other incident/problem/change platform
• Experience building and developing high performing Security and/or IT Operations teams
• Familiarity with network security operations and engineering (firewalls, switching, routing, etc)
• Familiarity with network and micro segmentation tools (Illumio, VMWare NSX, etc.)
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools (Defender)
• Experience with, at least one major Cloud Service Provider (Azure is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
• Strong relationship management ability
• Project management experience (Agile preferred)
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity framework
• Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
Education
•Bachelor's degree in a Cyber Security or Information Technology
