Key Functional Responsibilities
Analytics Focus
Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions
Define multi-year maturity development plan for the Global Analytics Team
Design and build technical processes and procedures to address business issues leveraging data
Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
Establish governance and controls to ensure data integrity
Communicate and track key performance metrics across departments.
Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
**Oversee the data/report requests process**: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
Monitor projects and dashboard/reports implementation to ensure value capture (post reviews) and elicit feedback from stakeholders for future enhancements.
Continuous Improvement Focus
Define multi-year maturity development plan for the Global Analytics and CI Team
Lead development of CI programs, challenging legacy processes, system and data management
Documents processes and creates Visio flow charts recommends process changes for efficiencies including employee document management for the company
Helps identify the areas where the executive leader must direct their focus and help define measures for success.
Manage communication and collaborate with key stakeholders in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving idea generation to find 'better-ways' of working, delivering greater value as a result
Lead and organize Lean Six Sigma workshops and development programs that elevates critical thinking and further drives process improvement
Identify process variations, gaps, wastes to improve efficiency and overall productivity
Lead and support improvement of project delivery that aims to affect change and better business process output
Provide performance analysis to support data driven operational decision making
Manage team performance and capacity - build a winning team
Perform special tasks and assignments as needed
**Working knowledge of data mining principles**: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical modeling techniques
Demonstrated expertise in data analytics with the ability to take complex data sets, effectively data mine, and thorough analysis identify pertinent insights and interpretation providing actionable insights to drive quality and process improvement activities.
Designing and implementing analytic tools and continuous improvement framework
Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt Certification or expertise in process improvement methodologies including Kaizen, Business Process Engineering, Gap Analysis/Business Process Modeling Notation preferred.
Process designing, mapping, streamlining and analysis
Proven business leader with track record of delivering change with high impact results.
Highly skilled in project development, implementation, and overall management
Working knowledge in programming and automation is an advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent collaboration and delegation skills.
Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an Analytics and Continuous Improvement Manager position or similar role required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field of study
Experience working with Excel Macros, R, SQL proficient in business intelligence tools (eg.
Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Data Warehouse, Data Lake) proficient in mapping tools (Lucid chart, MS Visio)
Experience in project management
Relevant years of experience in supply chain and/or FMCG
Relevant years of experience in shared service or global business services operation
