Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geoscience or any related fieldProven experience as a geologistFamiliarity with environmental regulationsGood knowledge of the attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materialsExcellent knowledge of geology and geological factors of the specified location.Great technical ability to design mappings of geological data, and use geological databases and software. Duties and Responsibilities: Survey sites and create logs (e.g. borehole)Gather and analyze geological dataExamine the composition of samples and specimensWrite reports on findingsStudy sites for developments, formations, hazards, and compositionDesign topographical and geological maps.Provide geological assessments and adviceConduct frequent training sessions with staff regarding investigations and data interpretation.
