Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience / Skills Requirements:
• Proven experience managing online payment systems or similar platforms, especially in fintech or digital payments.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine payment landscape and regulatory environment.
• Experience with payment orchestration platforms or a gateway is a must.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities This includes but not limited to:
1) Oversee Platform Development
• Lead the development and configuration of our online payment platform, ensuring it aligns with the company's payment strategy and operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the IT and development teams to implement the necessary infrastructure, APIs, and integration processes that ensure seamless payment journeys and optimal platform performance.
2) Operational Management:
• Establish and manage the operational processes for the payment system, including the setup of routing and cascading rules, alerts, and notifications.
• Monitor and analyze payment performance across all channels, payment providers, and methods, and implement strategies to optimize performance, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
3) Partnership and Relationship Management:
• Lead the day-to-day operational relationship with payment providers, acquirers, and alternative payment methods, acting as the primary point of contact for escalation and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Negotiate contracts and manage the on boarding process for new payment providers, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic goals.
4) Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with corporate objectives and market opportunities, driving growth and innovation in the online payment system.
• Manage projects that drive operational, process, and policy improvements across the organization, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
5) Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure the payment platform complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly those specific to the Philippine market.
• Implement robust risk management practices, including fraud prevention and cyber security measures, to protect the integrity and security of the payment system.
6) Team Leadership and Development:
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
