What is this role about? The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of the business by developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of branch managers, and achieving the company's sales and profitability targets.
They will serve as the key contributor to all strategic and business planning processes to meet sales objectives.
What will YOU do? Set goals aligned with corporate strategy and objectives, and guide and motivate the team in achieving them by conducting regular meetings to review and discuss the progress of sales programs and address challenges;Oversee the development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies to ensure that they contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets;Monitor and report sales performance and track key sales metrics to identify activities for continued implementation and address areas for improvement;Coordinate with department heads and company stakeholders to drive the resolution of goals and other business concerns related to the effective operations of dealership branches;Train team members on customer service standards, and facilitate regular performance evaluations and coaching/mentoring towards continuous effective performance;Ensure a consistent positive customer experience across dealership branches by providing personalized and value-added services, engaging showrooms, implementing streamlined processes, and utilizing active feedback mechanisms, while empowering team members to do the same;Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time.What will YOU need? Graduate of Business Management, Business Administration, or MarketingExperience in Automotive or Car Dealership, preferably EV, with at least 10 years in a management role.Proficiency in sales strategy and analytics, operations and program management, people management, and Google Workspace Suite.Experience in managing and establishing 4S dealerships for new domestic energy vehicles, preferably with experience in brands like BYD, NIO, etc.Driver's LicenseStrong leadership (people management) experienceWilling to extend working hours, holidays, or weekends, as neededWilling to do field work, as neededWilling to travel domestically for deployment and other assignments
