Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- At least 2 years of experience as a General Accountant or similar role, preferably for a US-based company.- Familiarity with US accounting software and financial systems is preferred.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.- Willing to work on a hybrid set-up.Key Responsibilities:Payroll and Commission Calculation:- Accurately calculate and process payroll for all company employees, including commissions for staff and agents.- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to payroll and commission calculations.- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and deductions.Invoice Management:- Review and manage company invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation to relevant departments or cost centers.- Verify invoice coding and approval processes, addressing any discrepancies or issues.Tax and Audit Support:- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for tax and audit purposes.- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.Financial Reporting:- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis as required by management.- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in all reports and statements.Account Reconciliation:- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances.Expense Tracking:- Monitor and track company expenses, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency improvements.Financial Systems Maintenance:- Utilize accounting software and tools to record and track financial transactions.- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.Ad Hoc Tasks:- Respond to ad hoc financial requests and inquiries from management.Provide support in various finance-related projects as needed.
