Description Our client is a member of MultiFamily Solutions, one of the largest collectives of multifamily flooring contractors in the United States. They provide our customers with access to exclusive products, significant buying power, and expert flooring services in 135 markets nationwide. They are currently seeking a General Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities: Review and prepare General Ledger transactions Run Month end system reporting packages Ensure the timely reconciliation of all General Ledger Accounts, either by delegation or execution Prepare monthly allocation entries Prepare, log, post and review all General Ledger Journal Entries Manage monthly Close process Provide Supporting documentation for any Reviews or Audits as needed Prepare Management Discussion and Analysis for monthly Financial Statements Prepare financial statements timely Reconcile all system Control Accounts Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Review/Audit financial transactions and documents Maintain Financial Data confidentiality Use strong Data Security tools/concepts Comply with International Accounting Standards (as it related to the adoption in the US), company financial policies and requirements as needed Requirements Work experience as an Accountant Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree Benefits HMO with 1 free dependent upon hire Life Insurance 20 PTO credits annually VL and SL cash conversion Annual Performance-Based Merit Increases and Employee Recognition Great Company Culture Career Growth and Learning A laptop will be provided by the company Hybrid work set up 40,000 - 45,000 Monthly Salary
