Job Description:
In this supervisory role, you will be leading a diverse and talented team that includes programmers, mathematicians, graphic artists, and sound designers among others. Your responsibilities include operational oversight, providing mentorship, and robust project management, all while fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Your leadership will ensure efficient operations and maintain our standard of excellence in the gaming industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the game management team and ensure that appropriate guidance, supervision, and support are provided to the team.
Supervise, direct, and lead a team of game management assistants and specialists by providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback on their project management work.
Identify training needs and areas of possible improvement for the Game Management team and recommend measures to facilitate skills development.
Prepare regular reports on the team's performance, project status, key metrics, and accomplishments.
Evaluate team members' performance and prepare written performance evaluations.
Ensure that finished projects align with the requirements before a product leaves the department.
Collaborate with team members from other departments to ensure that all expectations are sufficiently met.
Assists team members with projects as may be needed.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be a Graduate of either Entertainment and Multimedia Computing, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, any IT-related course, or an equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in the Gaming Industry.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of Game Management Assistants and Specialists by providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
Knowledge of slot machine game mechanics and player experience is preferred.
Experience working as a Game Management Supervisor or similar leadership role in a game development company is an advantage.
