Full Stack Developer (Australian Campaign) Health Insurance and Group Life insurance Job Description As security is a priority, your focus on identifying and addressing vulnerabilities will play a crucial role in maintaining a robust and secure system. This position is geared towards a candidate who is primarily focused on software development and user-centric improvements, rather than dev-ops. You'll be the first hire on a growing team and your role will span across:
·Lead the development of new dashboards and admin interfaces using Laravel/PHP. ·Create and document REST APIs, utilising tools such as Postman and Swagger. ·Utilise AWS for architecture, implementation, and administration. ·Implement and work with CI/CD solutions like Jenkins or Circle CI. ·Produce and maintain testable code, conduct code reviews, and ensure code quality. ·Effectively integrate APIs with third-party systems and platforms. ·Work with SQL databases such as MySQL and Postgres. ·Liaise, support and code review third party developers. ·Use Bitbucket for Git repo and version control. ·Implement payment gateways like Stripe or Pinch. ·Ability to develop GraphQL APIs is a plus. ·Offer occasional troubleshooting assistance to our clients with their app or widget implementations. ·Provide support and extend our most installed app: Shopify. ·Our plugins/apps are used on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and Salesforce Cloud, so experience working with these platforms is considered a plus. ·Familiarity with WordPress administration, theme development, and customisations. Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban, and proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Skills you'll need: ·Experience with Laravel/PHP (where we are planning to build our new platform interface). ·Experience implementing designs into themes/products on various platforms including WordPress. ·Experience developing/supporting Shopify apps and widgets a bonus. ·Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and commercial teams and understand feasibility from a technical perspective. ·Excellent planning and time management skills. ·Strong proactive communication style, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
