What does an IT Application Engineering Manager Do? Manage and mentor a team of Application Engineers as well as have dotted-line leadership accountabilities for Techno-Functional Business Analysts Be a key IT lead and participant in IT Application Engineering design governance Perform in all areas of the solution delivery life cycle including synthesizing business objectives into technology solutions, planning, designing, configuring, testing, deploying and managing change of the organization to complete a successful delivery Understand and articulate system landscape, middleware, and data flows for platforms in his/her domain Liaise between technical resources, business resources, and other functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of slutions deployed Excel in troubleshooting system issues, debugging system code, and finding corrective measures to address user challenges.
