Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the FP&A Analyst will support the key activities of financial planning, reporting and analysis for the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) segment. This position will partner and collaborate with members of the broader IPS FP&A function, the Divisional finance & FP&A leaders and also the functional departments supported by the FP&A team. This position is a full-time role.
Professional Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA or CPA equivalent preferred2-3 years of relevant accounting experienceFP&A experience at a large, multi-national company is strongly preferredExperience with Oracle ERP system, Hyperion and/or OneStream is strongly preferred. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word.Manufacturing experience is a plusStrong communication skillsCurious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedbackInsightful ability to identify trends and themes for continuous improvement across the functionAbility to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives, changing direction along the way to achieve business objectivesMotivated by and thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities.This role will have a broad responsibility for the following areas:Preparation of reports for inclusion in the monthly Business Unit Review (BUR) decks and President's Operating Review (POR) reports.Daily updates of sales metricsCreation of standard reporting packages; periodic updates (monthly) of the reporting packagesCreation of purchase orders, assistance providing proper account coding and processing of invoices for our IT/Digital functionAssist with monthly close analysis and preparation of accruals for our Corporate IPS functional departmentsBuild templates, schedules and decks on an ad-hoc basis as business requirements ariseGather and analyze data to assist with insightful decision makingConsolidate data across all of the manufacturing plants to enable plant-level score cardingAssist divisional Finance Directors with ad hoc requestsAssist with the Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasts by entering any necessary top-level allocation or other entries into HFMKey Responsibilities Support the FP&A processes including Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, monthly Business Unit reporting and other ad hoc requestsPartner with FP&A teammates to provide variance analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.Support monthly and annual forecasts for corporate functions including variance analyses, communication of insights, and reporting results to the business leads.Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to communicate and assist with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.Leverage analytical and system knowledge to organize and harness large amounts of data to more effectively translate data into insights for business decision making.Gather and analyze information to help identify P&L and working capital trends.Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies.
