Forklift Operator

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, and transport materials within a warehouse or production environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials and products.
Inspect forklifts before use, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting material movements.
Assist in organizing and stacking materials in designated storage areas.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and safety concerns.
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any issues to management.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding safety and material handling.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift operator certification (specific to company requirements).
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
