The Forest Protection Officer shall perform the following services:

Implement the following programs and activities under the guidance of the BINHI Project lead:

Lead the Community based forest protection team for the forest protection efforts in target project expansion areas in BMGP; Implementation of compliance planting activities resulting from the tree cutting for DOP and growth projects; Update the information of BINHI plantation registries; Assistance to the forestry permit activities such as Special Land Use Permit (SLUP) delineation, inventory of affected trees for Tree Cutting Permit (TCP), and validation activities for DOP and growth projects; Assistance to the conduct Biodiversity Conservation and Monitoring Program (BCMP), and enterprise development activities, in expansion areas; Whenever needed, assist in activities for the acquisition of social permits and in the implementation of local needs and monitoring of social permit conditions. Provide regular accomplishment reports on forest protection and compliance planting activities;

Assist the BINHI Project Lead in any forestry or social permit activities as may be identified, needed and/or required.
