Food & Beverage Supervisor: As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage service, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and adherence to quality standards. You will lead and motivate staff, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of the dining establishment.
Key Responsibilities: Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage service staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.Customer Service: Ensure that guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.Training: Train new employees on service standards, product knowledge, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff.Scheduling: Prepare and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage while controlling labor costs and maximizing efficiency.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages served meet established quality standards, and conduct regular inspections of service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol service laws, and take appropriate measures to address any violations.Cost Control: Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve budgeted targets, and implement cost-saving measures where possible without compromising quality or service.Menu Development: Assist in the development of menus, including pricing, selection, and presentation, based on market trends and customer preferences.Qualifications: Previous experience in food and beverage service, including supervisory or management roles.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as alcohol service laws and regulations.Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in computerized POS systems and basic office software.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Job Type: Full-time
