Fleet Technical And Maintenance Manager

The Mechanical Associate supports mechanical engineering projects by performing a variety of tasks, including design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems or components.
This role is critical to ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to engineering standards in manufacturing and production processes.
1.
Vehicle maintenance and repair: Oversee regular and emergency repairs, including engine diagnostics, transmission, and brake systems.

Preventive Maintenance: Manage and implement a preventive maintenance program for the entire fleet to avoid costly repairs and downtime.

Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Lead trouble shooting efforts and use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and propose solutions.
5.
Parts Management: Supervise the procurement and inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance and repairs.
6.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all fleet vehicles are compliant with LTO and DENR regulations, including registration, inspection, and emission standards.
7.
Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and other related staff, ensuring they are trained, efficient, and compliant with safety standards.
8.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with third-party service providers and suppliers for parts and services.
9.
Safety and Risk Management: Ensure that all vehicles meet safety standards and conduct regular safety checks.
Implement risk management strategies for mechanical failures.
10.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement fleet management software, diagnostics tools, or other technological solutions to improve mechanical and operational efficiency.
11.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the budget for mechanical repairs, spare parts, and maintenance costs while ensuring effective cost control.
12.
Inventory of stock, replaced parts, equipment, etc.
13.
Can handle urgent repairs and still manage to follow process.
14. make a purchase order and obtain approval before proceeding with the purchase.
15.
Knowledgeable in technical and mechanical assessment to truck problems.
16.
Make a reliable record of purchase
17.
Set schedule of preventive maintenance.
18.
Perform other duties that may be required from time to time


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Prior experience or internships in mechanical engineering or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Familiarity with engineering standards and safety protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
