Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Applications Manager to lead and manage financial systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle, SAP, or other similar ERP systems and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing these systems to support our business operations. The role requires a strong understanding of finance, accounting, and technology to manage the financial systems and ensure they meet the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial applications, including Oracle, SAP, and other ERP systems.
• Oversee daily operations and troubleshooting of financial systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to identify system requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure system integrity, security, and availability of financial data.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and optimize financial workflows.
• Develop and provide training for finance and accounting teams on ERP system functionalities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to enhance system capabilities.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing financial systems like Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Experience in systems integration, upgrades, and migrations.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
