Financial Reporting Manager (For Insurance Industry) - Wfh/Hybrid

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (preferred) Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management and/or trust services At least 2 years of experience in preparing regulatory reports for BSP-regulated entities Minimum of 5 years of experience in valuation and fund accounting Experience in an audit firm and/or in the preparation of financial statements for financial institutions Subject Matter Expert in various accounting standards, including PFRS and local statutory requirements Knowledgeable about laws and regulations governing trust and asset management companies Expertise in handling financial derivatives, including valuation, accounting, and hedge accounting Strong accuracy and attention to detail; able to meet internal and external deadlines consistently Basic organizational skills, including planning, time management, and prioritization Responsibilities Accounting and Reporting Evaluate financial reports. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual fiduciary financial statements and client reports, ensuring the accuracy of account balances and asset valuations. Assess fund accounting setup questionnaires for new clients. Examine tax schedules, certificates, and billing invoices issued to clients. Verify the accuracy of journal entries and adjustments in client accounts. Ensure accurate valuation of all managed accounts. Confirm bank instructions related to client account transactions. Review and enhance process manuals and operating procedures. Prepare audited financial statements for managed fund accounts. Internal Controls and Internal Audit Ensure effective controls are implemented for financial report preparation prior to submission to stakeholders. Update existing guidelines, processes, and procedures as needed for improvements. Review requirements related to audits. Support to Company Initiatives Assist in the application for tax-exempt status for clients' retirement fund portfolios. Act as a finance resource for fund-related initiatives. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php120,000.00 per month
