Job DescriptionObtain knowledge and understanding of client's business;Draft financial statements proforma for new clients;Prepare financial statements, including supporting workpapers, of alternative investment companies (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds) with simple to complex structure;Conduct research and read pronouncements and illustrative financial statements provided by external auditors that are relevant to the fund;Communicate with manager in-charge for client-related matters;Communicate/liase directly with external stakeholders such as investment managers, fund administrators and external auditors from the preparation to issuance of financial statements;Attend internal client meetings, meetings with the auditors and other meetings relevant to the financial statements preparation;Discuss/present the issues noted and corresponding resolution(s) with the client and/or auditors during calls/meetings;Perform general accounting, bookkeeping and reporting for selected clients;Provide assistance to the junior members of the team;Provide assistance to the manager in-charge in monitoring the status of the engagement.Minimum QualificationsCertified Public Accountant;At least 3 years audit experience (experience with Big 4 is a plus);Expert in IFRS and US GAAP reporting, combined with practical experience in financial statements preparation for alternative investment companies (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds);Keen to accuracy and details;Proficient in using MS Office applications;Knowledge in using QuickBooks is a plus;Ability to work enthusiastically with a team;Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines;Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.About Dominion Philippines, Inc.A Cayman Islands based professional accounting firm establishing a presence in the Philippines.
