Financial Reporting Accountant (Hybrid Work Set-Up)

The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and managing month-end closing activities. This role includes handling intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and the consolidation of financials across multiple entities. The Financial Reporting Accountant will also manage the monitoring and restatement of foreign currency-denominated assets and liabilities and apply hedge accounting principles.


What you will do:

Execute monthly and scheduled closing activities, including cut-offs for regular recurring transactions.
Review and reconcile bank accounts, and manage expense accruals and prepayments.
Handle intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing calculations.
Prepare and validate allocation tables for common expenses.
Generate and review financial statement reports.
Consolidate financial statements for multiple entities.


Qualifications:

Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (but not required) with in-depth knowledge of GAAP.
Strong financial reporting skills and proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Netsuite).
Excellent bank reconciliation abilities and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
