Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) is seeking for an aspiring senior staff candidate who is eager to step into a supervisory role in finance and security operations. Overall, chosen candidate in this role in the safety department combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of safety principles to ensure that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support a safe and secure work environment. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to forecast future financial performance.Conduct profitability analysis for various business units and product lines. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, providing explanations for variances.Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budget and forecast processes.Analyzes the departments costs associated with safety and security operations, including personnel and equipment.Monitor expenses, identify, and analyze safety and security measurements and improvements.Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety and security standards. Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Generate management reports to provide insights into financial performance.Create ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by senior management. Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and projections.Evaluate the financial impact of potential business decisions and investments.Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Monitor market trends and economic conditions that may impact the companys financial performance. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.Has an interest in security tasks, including the computation and analysis of physical security costs such as perimeter walls, access control (doors, biometrics), CCTV systems/plans, floor plans, security guard expenses, and cost per square meter and facilitating billing processes with security agencies.Identify and analyze financial data to identify efficient material/equipment to safety and security expenditures. Also utilize data analysis tools to identify potential areas of risk or inefficiency.Implement recommendations from audit findings to enhance financial controls and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing or a related field.Experience in data analytics or auditing is an advantage.Understanding of security tasks, including the computation and analysis of physical security costs are advantages.Preferably lives nearby South Metro Manila.Amenable to conduct on-site visits if assigned.Ability to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.With at least 2 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.Proficiency with financial software and tools such as Microsoft Office tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Strong communication and presentation skills
