Financial Controller Dayshift & Weekends Off

The Financial Controller is responsible for all areas relating to Finance including Payroll, Accounting, Reporting and Analysis, Budgeting and Cashflow management.
- Build current Finance team into a great Finance function and team for a BPO.
- The role will be responsible for Accounting for both the Philippine and Australian entity and will report to the CEO/COO and present at AU and PHP Board meetings.
- This role is for a Financial Controller who wants to take their career to the next level in a fast moving, people orientated, multi country, market leading BPO.
**Responsibilities**
- Consolidating the Australian and Phillipine entities monthly inclusive of transfer pricing
- Monitors the company's overall financial performance, analysing results, providing insights and analysis to the CEO/COO and initiating corrective actions
- Philippine payroll including adding and removing staff, payment of taxes etc
- Philippine compliance including but not limited to VAT, Witholding Tax, PEZA etc
- Monthly Client billing from AU Entity
- Accounts Payable for AU and PHP entities
- Reports Financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results and analysing variances
- Effective Annual Budgeting and rolling monthly Forecasting
- Effective Cashflow Forecasting, Analysis and Insights
- Monitor and analyse P&L at a department level and provide insights and analysis.
- Respond to queries from the CEO/COO regarding financial results, reporting requests and the like
- Documenting robust processes and procedures for all part of the Finance Function
- Developing key controls and checklist and proper governance around all facets of the Finance function

**Technical/Educational Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA, CFA or MBA degree holder
- Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
- Knowledge and experience in AU Accounting
- Experience in consolidation accounting
- High level of Proficiency in Excel (Modelling and Analytics) and Powerpoint

**Prior Experience/Skills**
- More than 7 years' experience in Management / Senior Management revolving around Finance/Accounting experience with proven leadership and management experience in Finance and Controlling.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Australian experience

- A strong work ethic
- Hard working and dedicated

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
