This role includes managing the hotel's financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. The Finance Manager ensures the efficient use of resources to maximize profitability while maintaining the integrity of financial operations and supporting the hotels strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage the annual budget and forecast processes in collaboration with department heads. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying variances and providing actionable insights. Accounting Operations: Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard hotel assets. Ensure compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and corporate standards. Cash Flow and Asset Management: Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs. Manage and safeguard hotel assets, including monitoring capital expenditures. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team. Collaboration and Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to the General Manager and department heads. Support corporate initiatives and audits as required. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in financial management, with a minimum of 2 years in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting. Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Familiarity with local tax regulations and hospitality industry standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
