FINANCE MANAGER
The Finance Manager provides timely and relevant financial information to support planning and controlling activities, oversees credit administration, delivers efficient cash flow management and ensure the company?s compliance to legislative regulatory requirements. All these are anchored on a well-established internal control system. Gives valuable insights to management on risk minimization and value creation.
Competency Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably CPA or Master?s Degree in Business Administration.
With 5 yrs relevant position as Supervisor/Manager and 10 yrs. experience in full cycle of Accounting/ financial management and understands core management function.
Excellent in Microsoft office and with experience in the use of computerized accounting and ERP system.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
A self-starter, effective team player, motivational leader, someone who appreciates the big picture but with an eye for detail. And most importantly, honest and possesses high ethical standards at work.
Job Description:
Leads the accounting team in full cycle bookkeeping, including the delivery of accurate product costing.
Generates, reviews, analyzes financial statements for management reporting
Understands and adheres to govt legislative and regulatory requirements
Develop annual financial plans and projections for
the company, highlighting risks and outlining courses of action.Manages the preparation of the company?s budget
Develop and implements collection programs aimed at minimizing credit risk exposures.
Leads in cash planning, including the preparation of Cash flow projection, highlights critical outlook and provides options to reverse projected cash crunch, including setting of collection targets for the sales team.
Secures funds for operational, and capital expenditures
Seeks to reduce the company?s cost of capital
Seeks to invest excess funds for the best return
Establishes the company?s finance and accounting policies and procedures ensuring adequacy of internal control in the processes.
Represents management in dealing with external auditors.
Establishes and organizational structure that is aligned with the dept and company?s strategy and operational plans
Sees to the adequacy of finance and acctg personnel talents for replacements up through and including the finance manager?s position
Trains or provide for training of new /veteran personnel to achieve high level of performance in the shortest time possible as well as to plan for succession.
Leads the performs appraisal of staff with the objective of measuring and improving individual performance
Ensures that finance and acctg staff have tools necessary to do their job.
Performs strategic planning, develop strategies and operational plans to achieve dept objective in line with the company?s overall plans and programs
