Finance Manager (Manufacturing)
Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a client that produces 100% certified organic, all-natural, non-GMO organic products. They are actively looking for a Finance Manager who has 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with an extensive background in General Accounting and Taxation. This position is in Davao and offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for the Cost, General, and Tax Accounting unit, ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and that reporting deadlines are met. This role includes overseeing employees and coordinating the budget preparation process to maintain precise financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Cost, General, and Tax Accounting unit.
* Ensure the accuracy of the company's financial records while meeting reporting deadlines.
* Establish internal controls and guidelines for preparing transactions in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
* Coordinate the budget preparation process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Create, monitor, and evaluate financial systems within the organization.
* Collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information to document the company's financial performance, positioning the company to make well-informed financial decisions.
* Report directly to the Country CFO.
Key Job requirements:
* Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
* A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience is essential.
* Proficient in Cost Accounting, General Accounting, and Tax Accounting.
* Proven experience in leading a team of CPAs.
* Preferably has experience in the manufacturing industry.
* Familiar with various accounting systems, particularly SAP.
* Possesses excellent communication skills.
