JOB DESCRIPTION: a. PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Finance and Accounting Manager in a Real Estate Start-up in charge of the Finance and Accounting department. The manager is responsible for the financial planning and operations of the company. Financial planning includes preparation and monitoring of budgets, presentation of financial statements and other related financial planning activities. Operations of the company include collection from customers, release of commissions and compliance to government agencies.
b. RESPONSIBILITIES: b.1. FINANCIAL PLANNING: Provides financial perspective on the important risks and opportunities facing the Company and creates relevant scenarios based on planned cash flows and revenue targets.Develops funding and resource allocation to prepare for projected financial targets in the short/medium/long term (income, expenses, major operational strategies, etc).Prepare financial forecasts by developing financial status, analyzing variances, reporting results, and recommending adjustments based on financial outlook.Provides high-level/strategic leadership and direction in Financial Growth Strategies for the Company.Prepare and present a complete set of Financial Statements to Directors.Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.Updates and keeps the Directors informed on the financial conditions of the Company as these relate to critical factors affecting its business and growth strategies.Provides adequate financial controls that need to be implemented to strengthen risk management in the accuracy and reliability of financial reports. b.2. OPERATIONS: Lead and review filing of BIR Forms (VAT, ITR, EWT, DST and others).Ensure timely release of commissions and disbursement checks.Monitor 100% collection of equity payments from customers.Reviews payroll and compensations and government contributions.Ensure compliance with SEC, BIR and LGU.
