Finance Lead

The Finance Lead will be responsible for a range of tasks to help the Finance team deliver a timely service to internal and external stakeholders. The core focus is to ensure accurate and timely processing of data and relevant external compliance and internal reporting for Bentleys group. The role will achieve these outcomes through leading the requirements of PH payroll as well as the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and delivery of government compliance requirements for Bentleys group. Strongly cooperating with Finance Team peers and peers across the business to support delivery of Finance team and company goals and strategy.
About the Role Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of operational finance tasks and requirements. Coordinate the tasks and skills across the staff to deliver the outcomes.Oversee and ensure requirements and performance of direct report staff to support the delivery of Finance team and company goals and strategy.Ensure preparation of end-to-end Philippines's payroll, including monthly pay, 13th month, government required payment and various tax related to payroll.Ensure preparation of various tax compliance requirements, including but not limited to income tax/GST/BAS for Australian entities, Philippines.Ensure the data integrity such as Time records/general ledger/accounts in finance and payroll systems.Ensure delivery of end-to-end accounts receivable, including debt collection, overdue invoice management and daily reconciliations.Ensure end-to-end accounts payables, including supplier onboarding, credit card reconciliation, AP invoice approval checks and payments. Managing the supplier master data in the finance system.EOM close: Prepare journals related to end of month activities. Including fixed asset depreciation, prepayments, expense accruals, balance sheet reconciliation etc. Ensure completion of timely and accurate data and accounting treatments for EOM reporting.Ensure continuous improvement of processes, procedures and relevant manuals and policies for the operational finance function.Assist CFO and Financial Controller on systems and process improvements and implementations.Assist CFO and Financial Controller with any ad hoc requirements.About the Person Minimum 8 years' experience in accounting and financeMinimum 4 years' experience in leading operational finance function activities, such as payroll, AP, compliance, EOM completion in Australia and Philippines.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plusSound skills in Microsoft Excel and experience using financial systems and non-financial systems, e.g., Xero, MYOB, APS timesheet, Sprout. Preferably has large ERP system experience.Previous experience in a similar role, working within a team environment, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach with internal and external clients and stakeholders.Demonstrated quality service experience working in an environment with tight timeframes, multiple priorities, while achieving outcomes and key deliverables.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity of accounts.Commitment to quality service and client relationsAbout the Offer Our colleagues are committed, client-focused and enjoy a positive work-life harmony.
