Finance Director

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Proactively and efficiently manage local statutory capital whilst ensuring the company stays within appropriate statutory capital levels.
- Identify and report key risks facing the company and design specific plan of action to mitigate such risks.
- Ensure compliance to all local statutory and regulatory bodies by preparing, completing and adhering to requirements and obligations.
- Ensure sound expense management is appropriately carried out and regulated based on business conditions.
- Create and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and adhered to.
- Manage the billings and collections processes to ensure alignment with regional standards.
- Lead regular reforecasts and budgeting exercises to ensure accurate and efficient usage of company's financial resources towards fulfillment of set business goals and objectives.
- Manage and comply with internal and regional reportorial requirements, if any and where needed.
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or any allied courses.
- Preferably a licensed CPA
- Preferably with experience as senior manager handling financial management, operations, accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting and risk management in an insurance setup.
- Finance generalist with experience in controllership, treasury, tax management, financial reports, etc.
- Ideally with experience in handling ERP migration
