Finance Controller (Ecom)

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to support business growth and efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team and ensure their professional development
Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Availability for part-time work (20 hours per week) in the CET time zone
- Experience as a freelance finance controller, preferably in the e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) industry
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus
