Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end financial agenda for Lazada's inhouse warehousing business in the Philippines
- Support in driving transparency and visibility in cost structure as well as working with business partners and operations leads to propose, review and challenge cost optimization initiatives
- Support the commercial function of Lazada Logistics with pricing models and pipeline evaluation
- Work closely with a regional team of FBPs to align on approaches and methods while ensuring the local requirements of the Philippines market are met
- Validate results of month end closing activities (handled by local accounting teams) to ensue the business works with accurate data
- Provide analysis and commentary for monthly business reviews with both local and regional management teams
Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills
- Strong educational background with degrees in Finance/Accounting (preferred) or General/Logistics Management
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an e-commerce or logistics environment
- Strong analytical thinking and understanding of business and financial models with a "customer first" mindset
- Good communication and intercultural skills and stakeholder management
- Experience in SAP & Anaplan will be beneficial
- Hands-on mentality and being able to deep dive into details as required. SQL skills to facilitate own data analysis would be a clear plus.
