The FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the overall financial operations and strategies of the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits and tax filings in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and support operational needs.Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, collections, and payments.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, sales, and procurement, to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals.Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory developments, recommending and implementing necessary adjustments.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
