The FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the overall financial operations and strategies of the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective financial controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits and tax filings in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing activities to optimize liquidity and support operational needs.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, collections, and payments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, sales, and procurement, to optimize financial processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory developments, recommending and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a CPA.
