Qualifications:
BS Agriculture or BS Mechanical Engineer graduate.
Strong technical knowledge and capability to solve technical and site issues
Ability to connect and understand people at all position levels
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Make sure all raw materials are stocked and available for fulfillment of mixing plan for the each week
2. Make sure all raw materials delivered passes quality standards set forth by company nutritionist
3. Conduct feed mill audit of weighing and mixing procedures to make sure all rations are mixed accurately based on feed formula
4. Conduct semi-annual homogeneity test to assure uniform mixing of macro and micro materials
5. Conduct semi-annual diagnostic tests such as proximate analysis and mycotoxin tests on selected raw materials to assure its quality
6. Conduct weekly inspection of all equipment to make sure they are in good running condition to minimize disruption in feed supply
7. Assure all spare parts are available and preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment is conducted weekly to ensure smooth operation of the feed mill
8. Arrange the timely delivery of mixed feeds to internal and external customers by arranging trucking schedules and loading and unloading crews
9. Implement strictly all biosecurity protocols such as cleaning, disinfection, limits in personnel movement, spraying, addition of feed sanitizers to ensure the feed materials and mixed products
10. Ensure all feed materials and finished products are properly piled to provide for a FIFO system, and also to prevent accidents inside the mill
11. Ensure all feed materials are properly labelled to avoid errors and confusion during mixing operations
12. Ensure all feed materials are not exposed to the elements like heat and water that can damage the product and cause spoilage
13. Reduce wastage of mixed feeds by proper bagging in sacks and tote bags of good condition
14. Conduct an accurate physical count of the raw materials weekly
Reporting Duties
1. Submit raw materials request to farm accountant for timely replenishment weekly
2. Submit raw materials usage report to the farm accountant weekly
3. Submit electricity usage report to the farm accountant weekly
4. Submit disposal report for any materials or feeds rejected or spoiled inside the mill
5. Update weekly maintenance report and submit request for spare parts as needed for repairs and maintenance.
