**Primary Function**
Responsible for driving required production output at desired quality, within target costs and with focus on safety at the mill.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
1.
Establishes manufacturing targets, communicates expectations to team leaders and the entire manufacturing unit, provides clear instructions and coordinates all production and delivery scheduling.
2.
Works closely with the company nutritionist and related vendors to ensure high quality, cost effective and value-added feed products.
3.
Keeps updated and ensures compliance with all transportation, environmental and feed production regulations and policies.
4.
Directs all feed transportation operations with focus on biosecurity, efficiency, value and timeliness.
5.
Monitors all feed production equipment, facility and truck maintenance and repairs and partners with the Engineering Department to ensure all equipment are kept in optimum operational capability.
6.
Manages and maintains an adequate yet cost effective grain, ingredient and supplement inventory.
7.
Ensures all required records and documentation related to production, drug/supplement usage and feed transportation are updated and readily accessible.
8.
Compares and recommends purchasing of all tools, parts and materials needed for the feed manufacturing department.
9.
Prepares and monitors all feed production/transportation related budgeting and financial controls.
10.
Provide information and recommendations to upper management related to feed production/transport and related cost reduction opportunities.
11.
Develops and evaluates the efficiency of all related standard operating procedures and required training interventions.
12.
Develops, communicates and enforces all feed production and delivery related biosecurity rules and practices.
13.
Handles customer questions and complaints and escalates issues to concerned departments for proper resolution.
14.
Maintains close and effective working relationships with Finance and Accounting, Corporate Services, vendors, contract producers, and government agencies.
15.
Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Graduate of Business Administration or Management, Agriculture or Engineering courses, preferably licensed.
- At least 3 years of work experience in Feed Mill Management.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Willing to work in Gerona, Tarlac City.
