Job Description Planning & Engineering lead for the E2E Network Facilities from Access to Core including Ultra A/Super Core sites, Data Centers, Cable Landing Stations and International PoP.
Provides guidance and direction for short and long term strategies anchored to the overall Business and company's plan essential for defining the E2E facilities strategy and master plan. Influence and contribute to the NTG overall strategy by delivering best in class facilities. Influence, shape and approve (L2) policies and guidelines essential for the discipline. Influence and establish partnerships with TowerCo, Infraco, etc. Appoints and ensures support on territory. Ensures that facilities plan delivers the desired site availability, contributes to the NPS and customer satisfaction. Recommends and strategizes in formulating Facilities Capex and Opex for budget approval. Responsible and lead of network sustainability programs, e.g. site Solarization and energy efficiency initiatives. KPI's 100% completion of the comprehensive Facilities Masterplan aligned with the annual planning cycle of NTG (e.g. Integrated to the Orion Program). Cost reduction on Capex and Opex. Energy reduction and YoY GHG reduction (i.e. Scope 1~3). Power Stability Improvement aligned with Hiroshima 2.0. Resource enablement of flagship and non-flagship programs. Top 3-5 Deliverables Fully integrated E2E Facilities 3-Yr master plan (e.g. from DC, CLS, Data Center and Access sites supporting NTG Programs). Clear high and low-level guidelines to empower territories to act independently. Ratified guidelines and Policies (Power, Tower and Space Designs). Cost efficiency design & solution (power, tower, space). Sustainability benefits, contribution to GHG emission reduction. Hiring Requirements Minimum 10~15 years work experience, advantage if with datacenter knowledge, and experience in facilities or similar transformation program.
Level of Knowledge: Advanced knowledge on Structural/Mechanical/Electrical, i.e. structural analysis, power efficiency, space design and sustainability.
Knowledge on energy transformation for efficiency and sustainability.
Education: BS Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
