Responsible for the maintenance, design, and improvement of the physical infrastructure and systems of the building facilities, ensuring all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with government and global occupational health and safety regulations.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures the maintenance of the cleanliness, safekeeping and orderliness of the building and facilities within the site.Inspects the compliance of company house rules and regulations to ensure safety and security of the employees, company assets, equipment and other facilities.Conducts routine inspection on existing Facilities, Machines and Equipment (incl. ACUs, EE Room, Mechanical rooms, exhaust fans, lightings, furniture, offices, CRs, power condition, etc.) to evaluate the condition and performance and to provide findings and recommendations.Leads and monitors the implementation of logistical requirements within site facilities.Conduct strict enforcement of engineering practices and established standards, codes, policies and regulations to ensure compliance and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes and waste reduction opportunities.Validate and confirm all facility-related plans and policies prior to implementation.Implements the approved "fit-out" and/or "build-out" facility requirements.Conducts regular inspection and monitoring of on-going facility construction and developmental projects.Ensures the proper implementation of environmental compliance for a site.Collaborate with contractors/vendors regarding plans, specifications and work schedules of a project, as well as the installation, maintenance and repair of site facilities and equipment.Collaborates and conducts regular interface with various groups (incl. Contractors, Vendors, Service Providers and Building Administrators, etc.) to discuss project plans, specifications, maintenance and repairs, schedules and development to ensure that requirements are met and resolves issues/concerns.Entertains and answers questions and concerns coming from vendors/contractors and service provider regarding work particulars.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Required: Graduate of bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) or any related course. Board certified Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) is an advantage.At least 3 years' experience in integrated facilities management. Experience in a BPO setting is an advantage.Strong foundation and expertise in facilities and equipment maintenance and project management.Solid knowledge on the following:Facilities system and troubleshooting and repair including general electrical and plumbing maintenanceBuilding codes, standards, and regulations, construction principles and maintenance of structures and facilitiesFacility expansions, layouts, quality controls and systemsDetermine equipment and facility specifications based on facility needs or standardsResource optimizationExcellent English written and verbal communication skills.Expert knowledge on MS Office applications, AutoCAD, SAP System and report generation.Good customer service, multi-tasking, problem-solving and organizational skills, including attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on decision-making and issue resolution.Operates with a sense of urgency, the ability to keep a cool head and meet deadlines.Project Management certification is an advantage, but not required.
