Job DescriptionWe are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with strong experience in housing construction and civil engineering.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the fabrication department, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Develop and implement fabrication processes and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure designs are feasible and optimize production methods.Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety within the team.Manage budgets and control costs related to fabrication operations.Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure that machinery is operating effectively.Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of materials needed for production.Prepare and present reports on fabrication metrics and project statuses to upper management.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing, with experience in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, tools, and technologies.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Proficient in fabrication software and tools; familiarity with CAD software is a plus.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.Working LocationIf the position requires you to work overseas, please be vigilant and beware of fraud.
