Estimator (Dayshift / M-F/ Office Based)

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the Australian construction, civil, or engineering sectors.
Software Proficiency: Experience with estimating software such as Buildsoft, Beams, Cubit,Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD or similar industry-specific tools.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Australian construction standards, regulations, and local building codes.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents, with high attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Education: A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best pricing.
Familiarity with Contracts: Knowledge of Australian contract law and experience working with various contract types (lump sum, design & construct, etc.).
