New Media Services is looking for an English Training Manager to facilitate the learning of our producers. This role is required to provide an authentic conversational experience to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional language skills beyond English, with proven experience in conversing with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and the ability to explain difficult concepts to learners of different levels. The qualified candidate will be capable of ensuring the increased performance and productivity of our full time office-based personnel.
Job Requirements Responsibilities: Develop and implement customized language training workshops tailored to our staff needs. Conduct engaging language training sessions using a variety of methods including conversation practice and exercises. Monitor the proficiency and improvement of approx. (x) personnel in the conversational use of the English language. Assess trainee progress by monitoring QA scores. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to trainees to guide their learning Stay updated on resources that can continually enhance training effectiveness. Collaborate with team members to contribute to the development of innovative language learning materials and curriculum. Qualifications & Experience: Proficiency in English at a native speaker level is required (besides fundamental elements, an understanding of slang and casual conversational tone is essential) Proven language tutoring or training experience Experience in conversing with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, preferably in a tutoring or instant messaging capacity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect and engage with learners of varying proficiency levels. Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Bachelor's degree in linguistics, education, or a related field preferred.
