Engineering Head

Position: Engineering Head Location: Governor's Drive, Brgy. Lapidario, Trece Martires City
Core Responsibilities: · Overall responsibility for Engineering activities across the business
· Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
· Ensure that engineering strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
· Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor, and develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value, and cost reductions.
· Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance
· Evaluates all costs associated with each project including materials, costs of labor, and time expended.
· Negotiates contracts with vendors and clients to ensure the most cost-effective means of reaching the customer's needs.
· Approves plans and budgets for each project and makes any adjustments
· Coordinates the engineering team, assigning short and long-term goals needed in consultation with the client and the President/CEO. successful completion of the project's plans.
· Reviews safety standards for the finished product.
· Makes sure all projects and undertakings stay on budget and within the projected time schedule.
· Allocates resources effectively including personnel, materials, and time.
Minimum Qualifications: · With a background in Mechanical Engineering focusing on LPG installation.
· Must have experience leading teams of individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines.
· Demonstrable experience in leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes, and systems
· Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.
· Proven project management experience.
