In your new role you will: Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix infrastructure (Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Solaris, HPUX) across global data centers Ensure resilience and high availability through Enterprise Clusters (Service Guard) and load balancers.
Accountable for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Linux/Unix servers, including deployment, configuration, tuning, patching & hardening, monitoring, troubleshooting, and disposing of servers.
Assist clients in deployment and migration projects through consultancy and knowledge sharing.
Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support, collaborating with other data center engineers to address complex technical issues.
Require to strive for continuous improvement in the operating environment while actively seeking opportunities to implement automation.
Collaborate within a global team to provide follow-the-sun support, ensuring a stable environment for critical services.
Work with the following tools: Linux, HPUX, Solaris, Service Guard, Ansible, Rundeck, Foreman, Puppet, Zabbix, Confluence and Kibana.
You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or similar Linux/Unix Administrator certifications are added advantages.
Relevant experience in overseeing Enterprise IT Infrastructures, particularly with Linux Servers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and Dev-Ops skills Proficiency in English and desirable soft skills including teamwork, project management experience, presentation/communication abilities, and an independent and structured approach to work.
Fresh graduates with strong technical skills will be considered.
