Job Description The Engineer in Training (EIT) program is an entry-level program for engineers to learn core Rockwell Automation product technologies and to develop fundamental engineering skills for use in customer-facing activities.
This program prepares recent engineering graduates from around the world to be cross functional, technical resources that provide engineering services to support the design, installation/configuration, and startup of networks for Rockwell Automation's customers.
The program includes a combination of formal classroom training and work assignments to give engineers hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation's products and technologies. Training focuses on both technical and commercial competencies.
As program participants, you will have a high level of interaction with Rockwell Automation leadership and will receive many opportunities to build your professional network.
Upon completion of the overseas training program during 16+/- weeks, engineers are assigned to field offices in their home countries and support our customers in their own region.
16 weeks of overseas training, all paid by the company, including accommodations, meals, and trainings. After that, return to home countries for rotational on-the-job trainings. JOB PURPOSE Responsible for successful completion of the EIT trainee training program and meeting the requirements of an entry-level project engineer.What You Will Do Familiarize yourself with RA products and their applications.Complete project tasks based on work orders.Deliver and accomplish the assigned projects on time with good quality, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.Continuously improve self-engineering capabilities and share best practices with team members to enhance the team's capabilities.Support the Project Manager on technical issues, such as WBS development.Work with the Project Manager to guarantee customer acceptance.Ensure 100% completion of technical items defined in the sales proposal in project delivery.Ensure project implementation follows the procedure of SSB standards.Maximize reusable standard products and engineering in project delivery.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Control Theory.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Good skills in Technical Fundamentals (PLC, HMI, VSD, Automation Control, Networks).Ambition to work independently and within a team.Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.Excellent verbal and written skills in English.What We Offer:Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm.Volunteer paid time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees.Company volunteer and donation matching program – Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.Employee Assistance Program.Personalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program.On-demand digital course library for professional development.At Rockwell Automation, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
