**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
- Responsible for entering crew data / information for every crew / seafarer in the defined Crewing System/s
- Also performs other functions or participates in ad hoc projects as may be assigned from time to time
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
1.
Update and maintain crew data/information on StarOcean database and crewing systems by inputting text based and numerical information from various source documents
2.
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
3. Review data for deficiencies of errors, correct any incompatibilities
4.
Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents in coordination with Seafarer / Crew Operator / Assistant Crew Operator for all crew assigned on primary vessels handled
5.
Ensures the accuracy and timely report issuance, particularly the mandatory documents, such as:
- HMO enrolment
- Joiners' updates
- Sign-off updates
- StarOcean Crewing System
6.
Performs self-audit of reports before endorsing to Assistant Crew Operator / Crew Operator for all crew assigned on primary vessels handled
7.
Checks completeness of encoded crew documents and immediately reports to the designated Crew Operator / Senior Encoder when there is/are issues.
8.
Acts as a deputy encoder for the assigned secondary vessels, in the absence of the primary encoder.

Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Academic - Preferably graduate of any IT related course
- Languages - English & Tagalog
- Computer skills - Windows OS, MS Office, Navision
- Experience - Preferably with experience working in a manning agency
- Others - Must have communication, decision-making and analytical skills; Strong work ethics; Ability to work under pressure

- 8 hour shift
